The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the Housekeeping Department, working closely with the Housekeeping Managers to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. This position is responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about luxury hospitality, with a strong ability to lead, motivate, and support a team while delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence

Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure all guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet luxury brand standards

Conduct thorough room and area inspections, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are consistently achieved

Ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules in line with departmental productivity targets

Identify and report maintenance issues promptly to ensure swift resolution
Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead, motivate, and support Housekeeping Attendants to achieve high performance and engagement

Assist Housekeeping Managers with daily planning, task allocation, and workflow management

Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to team members
-
Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment
Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times

Support training and compliance with workplace safety regulations and best practices

Maintain proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and personal protective equipment
Quality & Guest Experience

Uphold Rosewood brand standards and ensure a consistently high level of guest satisfaction

Respond professionally to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping

Take pride in delivering a polished, welcoming, and luxurious environment
Skills & Experience Required
Essential Requirements

Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service

Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a 4–5 star hotel or luxury resort environment

Minimum of 18 months’ supervisory experience in a similar role

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
